Bao Qinggang, Ph.D. in Chinese Philosophy, graduated from the Philosophy Department of Nanjing University. He serves as a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Marxism, Nanjing University, a researcher at the Chinese Traditional Culture Research Center and an executive director of Jiangsu Confucian Studies Society. With extensive experience in researching and disseminating Chinese traditional culture, his main research areas are Confucian philosophy, Taoist philosophy, metaphysics in the Wei and Jin Dynasties, Chinese traditional culture and ideological and political education. He has authored the monographs Reflection and Reconstruction: Researches in Guo Xiang’s Commentaries to the Zhuangzi, Wandering Far and Unfettered Through the Ages: Zhuangzi and has co-authored several books, including Chinese Classics Series (13 books), Key Words of Chinese Philosophy, Ten Influential Classics of Chinese Culture, Ten Influential Philosophers of Chinese Culture, and Classics of Traditional Chinese Philosophy,as chief editor.  He has published over 30 papers in top-tier and CSSCI journals, including Philosophical Research, Social Sciences in Nanjing, Confucius Studies, and The Journal of Humanities. He has led projects supported by the National Social Science Fund, the Ministry of Education’s Humanities and Social Science Fund, and the Social Science Fund of Jiangsu Province and has participated in many significant projects supported by National Social Science Fund as well as provincial and ministerial projects.
