韩漫

Li Xiying (1967-), born in Neiqiu, Hebei Provinc,is a professor and master’s supervisor at the School of Marxism, Nanjing University. She graduated from Shandong University with a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy in 1987 and earned a Master’s degree in Philosophy from Shandong University in 1990. She worked at the School of Marxism, Hebei Medical University, from 1990 to 2002 before joining NJU School of Marxism since then. She obtained her Doctor of Philosophy degree in 2006 and left the Postdoctoral Mobile Station of Education at Nanjing Normal University in 2012. She was a visiting scholar at NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development from 2013 to 2014.

Her research areas are ethics, moral education and civic education, and her courses include Theoretical and Practice Research on Ideological and Political Education, Teaching Methods for College Ideological and Political Education, Ideological and Political Education, and Ideological Morality and Rule of Law.

Li Xiying has published nearly 40 papers in journals such as Morality and Civilization, Philosophical Trends, Academia Bimestris(Xue Hai), and Exploration and Free Views. Her monograph, Modern Transformation and Reconstruction of Moral Education in China,was published by Anhui People’s Publishing House in 2007. She has edited eight books and served as chief editor for some of them. In addition, she presided over several research projects, including the National Social Science Fund project “Research on the Nourishment of Fine Traditional Chinese Culture for Core Values of Socialism” (2017), two Jiangsu Philosophy and Social Science Fund projects (2013, 2008), and Jiangsu Provincial Postdoctoral Fund project (2007). Besides, she participated in another four  research projects.

In 2020, the course “Ideological and Moral Cultivation and Legal Basis” presided over by Li, was awarded the honor of National-Level Online First-rate Undergraduate Course. She has also won five prizes in provincial-level and university-level teaching competitions.

Li Xiying serves as a member of Jiangsu Provincial Teaching Subcommittee of the course “Situation and Policy” .
